nuVIDEO nominated for EMEA VC Partner of the Year Barcelona 2008 - 21/09/08

nuVIDEO have been a TANDBERG partner for nearly ten years and over the years have worked hard to create a loyal customer base both locally and across the UK with a particularly strong presence in education and healthcare markets.

Early in 2008 the MD Stuart Bruce officially resigned from the company and moved permanently to Spain. The departure of such a charismatic figurehead left some in the industry to speculate on how the nuVIDEO brand would survive. Martin Cruickshank and his team were not planning on overseeing the demise of the business.

Throughout the year, Martin, Grant Watson and Gavin McGurk worked hard with the Horizon team and TANDBERG to develop a strategy and action plan for growth.

Utilising nuVIDEO's position in the market, the unique skills within the organisation such as Microsoft integration, and the Envision program as a structure for growth. nuVIDEO engaged with TANDBERG & Horizon at every level. The result has seen engagement in a unique partnership with a major healthcare equipment manufacturer to sell TAA 1700's. Liaising with TAA to deliver Infrastructure solutions into major energy suppliers and a very close engagement with the ASP program to deliver added services to clients and an extremely high attach and renewal rate.

Since Martin took over the TANDBERG business has grown by over 70% and the expectation is for them to be one of the top performing partners by the end of 2008.

Beyond this, into 2009, nuVIDEO are already working on their own Unified Communications strategy and expect significant growth to come with these exciting developments.
